Physical Chemistry

Physical chemistry is the study of macroscopic, atomic, subatomic, and particulate phenomena in chemical systems in terms of laws and concepts of physics. It applies the principles, practices and concepts of physics such as motion, energy, force, time,thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, statistical mechanics and dynamics, equilibrium.

Physical chemistry, in contrast to chemical physics, is predominantly (but not always) a macroscopic or supra-molecular science, as the majority of the principles on which physical chemistry was founded, are concepts related to the bulk rather than on molecular/atomic structure alone. For example, chemical equilibrium, and colloids.

Some of the relationships that physical chemistry strives to resolve include the effects of: chemicals in your body such as your heart beat rate being effected by how fast you are moving and how high your blood pressure is. You can change this effect by balancing out your sugar with other foods.


In conclusion,if all of these go together,how do they do that? These sentences will tell you the answer. For example, chemical equilibrium,and colloids show bulk like the bulk of any matter:In its' own form.  This does not apply to the principles, practices and concepts of physics such as motion, energy, force, time,thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, statistical mechanics and dynamics, equilibrium.

Good Omens;Bad Books

An angel named Azirphale is talking to the snake that tempted Adam and Eve. He calls it a devil and says that he shouldn't be talking to it. The two still talk of the Apocalypse. They say that it is planned that the world will be destroyed to punish the wicked.


The Them are a nameless school gang. They have four people. The Leader,Adam Young is unknowingly the Antichrist. Azirphale and the serpent{Now named Crowley.} Go to try and make Adam unable to decide to join either good or evil so that they can postpone the Apocalypse and stay living on Earth.

All of this was prophecied by one Agnes Nutter. She was burned at the stake for this but she packed her petticoat with gunpowder and blew every one who participated n her burning into pieces. Her descendant,Anametha Device,teams up with a man named Newton Pulsifer to help Azirphale and Crowley.
The two meet Adam,Azirphale,and Crowley. They find that Adam doesn't want to hurt the innocent people of the world.

Blood

Blood is not just red stuff in your body. It is the most amazing liquid ever. Red blood cells carry oxygen to all parts of your body.White blood cells attack viruses. Capillaries make a scab by binding red blood cells.



Your heart pumps blood to your lungs at faster than light speed. your veins recall your blood with its oxygen.

Dantes Failferno

                                       Canto 1
Dante is in woods he does not recognize. He hears a growl. He runs and then sees a she wolf. He runs into the woods and sees a shadow of the great Virgil. Virgil leads him into the pit. Dante  reluctantly goes in with a guardian angel at his back.


                                                          Canto II The Pit of Hell

Dante is in the pit. The pit will lead him and other poets to Hell so that they can fight the devil. They must get to the gate. Dante leads the poets to the gate. Many retreat while some stand strong.



                                    Canto III  Hell Itself
The group of poets goes to Hell to fight the devil,Satan. They easily get past the gate keeper by saying a prayer to God. In Hell they face numerous creatures of evil,none as evil as Satan. They must pray for god t be with them in this fatal fight. God delivers not his angel,but himself,And he smites Satan.

Fish

fish are limbless cold-blooded vertebrate animals with gills and fins and living wholly in water. Some have gills like portholes and live as parasites. Others are sharks,carnivorous cartilaginous fish with big teeth that move forward to replace those that fall out. These creatures have streamlined bodies that help them move. The more streamlined the body,the faster the fish. Fish have special kidneys full of oil that help them float.

What happens when you let your 5th grader pack for camp: I called home when stopping st Fred Meyer after a long day of fun and asked if the kids had all the necessities and toiletries. Turned out Andrew had no toothpaste, soap or shampoo and had not chosen to tell us. It also boggled my mind that I was the only person in line NOT buying alcohol, and 1/2 of them were buying BEER IN CANS! Stay classy, Federal Way.

Andrew : " I saw a killer queen bee at camp!"

And the rest of the story? As I was dragging the last few items out of his luggage I found the soap I bought him...still in the wrapper. His excuse? "The shampoo you bought me is for all body types so I used it on ALL the hair on my body."

I kill the crow with Bob and Mick!!

Bob is my club. He has a secret blade that he uses when fighting crows with me. He is like Stormbringer in the fact that he is a living weapon.[No 0/0 Germs,MTG lovers.] One day,we saw a crow in my yard.

So I says to Bob,"Let's go kill it,Bob." He says "Okay." So we go out and it attacks us! Bob uses his magical blade to kill it's progeny,but it fights on! The crow attacks me next! I pull out Mick and slash it! The crow recoils and attacks Bob and Mick! I daringly attack it to defend Bob and Mick,and Bob attacks it with his blade,killing it.


Then Death of Crows appeared! I dueled with him for the crow's head. We fought and fought. I used a parry,he used a block. Stab,slash,punch poke fire ice and lightning. We fought for three hours,no resting. I used potions and Bob to bash and heal. I stabbed and he sliced. I clubbed and he blocked. I used Bob and Mick to win the day. I crushed Death of Crows. I had won at last!

Science

Plants are split into two groups. Flowering plants and not flowering plants. Non flowering plants are millions of years old. Now the largest ones are under water plants. There are ferns,kelp,and other plants. Non flowering mosses and grasses are an example.

Sherlock Holmes

It was a warm day and Sherlock Holmes and his friend Watson were in their apartment when Holmes read a note from detective Lestrade. He said to go to Croydon. There he met Miss Susan Cushing on Cross street. She had  an odd package. It smelled like  the sea and was boxed by sandpaper. Twas holding two mismatched ears. Lestrade thought that this was a practical joke. Holmes said that it was a murder mystery.


Holmes said that it was from a ship. He found that one Jim Browner was a sailor on bad terms with Sarah Cushing and her husband. He found that the marks on the ears were from a sailors knife. Holmes had Lestrade arrest Jim Browner. Jim Browner was on the S.S. Mayday. He had a knife and almost attacked Lestrade. But the River police were already there. They cuffed Browner and took him away.

Writing

I think that winter and early spring are dark and that is why Wyeth liked to paint them so much. The connections are darkness and neutral colors between the palette and the spring and winter.

My Looks

 I am handsome.

 I wear fine clothes. I have rosy cheeks and chesnut eyes. I have no pimples or dimples. I have dirty blond hair.


I am ruggedly handsome. I can wear what I want. I have no restrictions. I will dye my hair bleach blond. I will spike my hair.

 I am finely handsome. I wear only good clothes. I will not dye my hair. I will brush and comb it instead. I will eat without a stain.

I do look kinda good right now..... But my breath smells bad.

Art

Andrew Wyeth was an influence on young artists, Showing them the path he took,and that they chose their own paths. He showed that even people with weak  systems could become wonderful artists. He was a fine artist who was still strong in the mind even though he was weak in the body. He told people to go whichever way they wanted. He was not forceful,but was kind and calm.

SKYENTOLOGY

Plants draw food through photosynthesis. Mushis draw food from living and dead creatures. Plants use water to make sugar. Mushrooms do not use water. Plants make oxegyn and we make carbon dioxide.


Some plants can give of an allergic reaction to people by entering into their blood system. Others grow using water and sugar. Trees are plants while mushrooms are fungi. Plants are the larger of the two kingdoms of creatures. Mushrooms are mostly infectious.

Sherlock Holmes

                           The Case of Mr. Scott Eccles
Sherlock Holmes was sitting in his room when there came a knock on his door. A man came in and told him a practical joke had been played on him. He was in Wysteria lodge one night. When he woke up,his host was gone. He found later that his host was dead.


Holmes found out that the killer was the tiger of San Pedro. Garcia,the owner of the lodge was going to try and kill the tiger,who had once been a tyrant ruler. Garcia's cook had been caught in his master's house and accused of murder. The officer named Walter had caught him and put him in jail. Holmes found out about the fact that Walter was onto the tiger.

Holmes was told of a man who was in Mrs. Warrens house and renting a room for Ten pounds a day.
Holmes heard that he did a switch with another man. The man that went back in was the Black Gorgiano. The man that left was unknown.

Holmes me ta man who was a famous American  detective. He had come to London to  track down Gorgiano. Gorgiano was an evil er. He was found dead in his room.

Science

Plants send water from the roots to the leaves  through transpiration. They will move the water through the plant. Colored water will change the leaf color. If a plant does not have clear water, it will wilt and die. Colored water will kill a plant.

Essay

                                             The Seeds
One day,I planted some seeds in my yard. I planted some in my garden bed and some in some pots. Some crows ate my seeds. I hit the crows with my shovel. They flew away.

I planted some more seeds. I made sure to hide them. The crows still ate the seeds. I hit them again. They flew away again.

I learned why farmers always use scarecrows instead of just most of the time. I planted my final batch of seeds for the day. The crows stayed away at last. I had won the seed wars. The crows had lost to my power.

Art History

The WPA art project was used as work relief. Artists came to get easy work. People would stop work to see the art. Others would use it to get money and fame. Some artists found it insulting while others found it complimenting to be invitited.

The Crucible

Mr. Parris is in his house praying. His daughter is sick. He does not know what is going on with her. She did dance in the woods. Her cousin Abigail comes in,followed by Goody Procter. Mr. Procter is in love with Abigail and while every body else is singing a Psalm,they are almost alone. But them Emma tries to jump from the window. Emma is Mr. Parris's  daughter. Mr. Parris comes immediately.




Days later,Emma is better. She becomes a member of the court. Abigail,Mary Warren,and Emma are the court members. They have a judge named Danforth with them. Danforth has deputies with him.


The deputies take Goody Procter to jail. Her husband goes to release her. Months later,Abigail runs away from home. She said she was going to Mary's house. Later Parris left and was never heard of again.

It's in Your House,Choking out Plants. FUNGUS!!

 Fungus is a multi-celled creature that is not even really alive. It relies on other creatures for food. It is not good or bad. It recycles and it hurts.


It eats plants and animals. It ejects spores from it's gills. It is not a plant. Mushrooms are fungus.



Fungus eats dead plants and animals. It can sporulate with or without wind or animal movement. It is slow to shoot spores and some rely on animals to eject spores by stepping on them.

Dandie Wine

Douglas was up in the tower. When he woke up,he told people to do summer things. His grandma made a meal and then he went on a walk to the ravine. When he came back,he helped pick dandelions for his grandpa. His grandpa made dandelion wine in the summer.

 He and his brother Tom played with the boys. They played hide and seek. Then they went on a trip with their dad to the country. They ate sandwiches that his dad said tasted funny. Tom called Doug crazy and soon payed the price.

Back at home,Douglas got new running shoes. They were sold for labor. Doug did some jobs for the man who sold shoes. He suggested to Leo Auffman that he make a happiness machine. He did so,and his wife used it. She cried and said to destroy it. He did so.

Douglas grew ill and nearly died. He had a friend named Mr. Jonas,a junk dealer. Mr.Jonas gave him something for his illness. He got better and soon thanked Mr.Jonas. Mr. Jonas had saved him.

Dear Diary No.1

Today,my mom went to jury duty. My dad had to stay home from work. My mom says that the jury building is four stories high,the third floor has a rotunda,and there are so many windows you have to wear sunglasses inside. You have to go through a security checkpoint to get in. My bro made yummy cookies. I am gonna watch Eureka. End

O'Keefe Writing

Georgia O'Keefe moved to New Mexico twice. Once for vacation and once for life. She lived on Ghost ranch,painting skulls and bones. She made Goats Horn With Red,and other paintings. She painted until she was blind,and then had her friends paint for her.

Animal Farm

The animals on Manor Farm are rebelling.Mr. Jones is being horrible to them. They fight back against him,taking the farm. They fight with hooves and feet,claws and teeth. When they took over,they renamed it Animal Farm. Then,the battle leaders Snowball and Napoleon make 7 commandments. These are changed to Four legs good,Two legs bad. The animals build and work. One day,Jones tries to retake Animal Farm. Napoleon and Snowball lead the animals into battle,saving the day. Then,snow ball is exiled by Napoleon. A horse named Boxer works hard and says that Napoleon is always right. One day he is sick and dies. Years later,Napoleon is old and Boxer is forgotten.

This was punishable. Soon,he got a call. He soon was called upon. He thought it must be the thought police. It was just his neighbor though. She asked him to fix her pipe. Her kids were evil. Her daughter had a man arrested. Winston had a dream were a woman did something inappropriate. Then it was  time for Physical  Jerks.  Winston had a friend named Syme. His job was about the new speak dictionary. He asked Winston for razor blades. There was a razor blades. The party shops might at any time run out of something . He met a girl named Julia. She said that she loved him. She said this because he was impure. She and Winston went to someplace secret and made out. Then,they went to a rebel leader,but he was really one of the Thought Police. They were captured and tortured. Winston let the girl die. One day,much later,he went to the bathroom. In prison. One girl went to room 101. She shriveled up and turned a different color.

Bacteria are single celled organisms. Viruses and bacteria are Protozoan. They can cause diseases.  Bubonic plague is one such disease. This disease is spread to humans by fleas. Also known as the black plague, it is deadly. Some protozoa are hunters and hunt other protozoa. Some protozoa make rocks. Their bodies pile up and make rocks such as sandstone.

Genetics science summary

Genetics is the art of studying genes. People have millions of genes. The most important genes are reproductive genes. These genes are sperms and eggs.<See last essay.> Genes are important as they can heal injuries and cure sicknesses.


Some genes can help us live in other ways. The genes in our lungs help our lungs to work. The genes in our heart help it to pump oxygen through our blood. Without these genes,we would die.

The Red Badge of Courage

A youth named Henry went to join the army. The people used bad spelling like "Allus" Instead of always. Henry was told that the army was going to fight tomorrow. He was told that it was to be big battle. He marched with assurance. He was told that they were going to win the battle. The man that said that was wrong. This was the Civil war. The rebels came at them swiftly so that the arm had to retreat. Henry was running when he found an old forest sanctuary. He saw an old,dead man. He ran for his life. He saw ants climbing on the mans head as he ran. He ran right into a rebel attack. He got grazed by a bullet on his head. He found his camp and was treated by his friend. He returned home and was praised by his loved ones.

Art history writing

Edward Hopper made lonely pictures. He used no people,but drew landscapes. He made houses and fields that were "Lonely". He asked the viewer a set of questions like "Who lives here?". He did not like the art critics use of the word lonely.

Science summary

                                                Sexual reproduction

Sexual reproduction is how many creatures reproduce. Mammals like us are one example. Many creatures will inherit some of their parents traits. Others will not. Some creatures like the grebe (a bird) do a dance before mating. this dance shows that it is a grebe,not another bird.


Gametes are sex cells . The sperm fertilizes the egg  and the egg turns into a baby. Some creatures lay eggs outside of their bodies while other eggs stay inside of a body. Mammals have eggs inside of their bodies that the sperm comes to. The egg will stay still and the sperm will move to it.


The gametes are eggs and sperms. They are what make babies. These babies could develop inside the body of a mammal or outside of another creature. Fish reproduce by laying many eggs and spraying the sperm on them. Not all the eggs will get hit by the sperm.

Trickster

                       Trickster is a series of native American tales about animals or people who trick other                                        
                        People into giving them things or food and drink.

                                                            Raven the Trickster
Raven liked to kick Deqs,or sea anemones. He was walking along the shore line one day when a deq saw him kicking other deqs and said that Raven would not kick him. He grabbed Ravens foot and would not let go. Raven offered him a kayak. The deq said no. Raven offered him a raincoat. The deq said no. Raven offered him wife. The deq let go. Raven kicked him and went on his way. Raven saw a whale. He called the whale and asked it to open its mouth. Raven flew into its mouth. He met an old lady who welcomed him in and went to get him some food. She told him not to touch a lamp,but raven did not listen. He soon heard men outside. One of them cut a hole in the whale,and Raven flew up. He told the men that he had seen an evil spirit. They gave up their meat and ran for it. Raven took their meat and left.

Long ago,Rabbit,or Chukfi fell in love with Nashoba-Tek. She had an eye for Chuckfi,but not in the same way. She invited him to dinner and he quickly agreed. He didn't realize he was going to be dinner. He asked her to be his girlfriend. She said that she was in love with Wolfie. Rabbit said Wolfie let him ride on his back like a horse. Wolfie told him to go tell Nashoba-Tek that this wasn't true. Rabbit said he had a thorn in his foot and that he could not walk. Wolfie let him climb on his back. And that is how Chukfi stole wolfie's girlfriend.



                                                              Dangerous Beaver
There was a beaver who killed and ate anyone who came near his dam. One day,A boy who had 4 brothers was alking along and saw the beaver singing. He asked the beaver what he was doing and the beaver asked him to get him some beaver meat. The beaver sprung up on him and killed and ate him. The same happened to the next 3 brothers. The fifth brother met a meadow lark who told him not to take the meat that the beaver offered him. The boy killed the beaver and it became little beavers.

                                                           

Art history Writing

George Bellows was  very involved with his subjects. He saw them and met them and painted them but he didn't really know them well. His paintings made me feel sad. His paintigs made me feel sad because people died in some and they were not the people on Glee. He did know his most popular models pretty well though. He painted soon-to-be famous people.

Seize the day

Seize the day is about Tommy Wilhelm. Tommy is away from his wife and wanting a divorce. But she will not divorce him. His father told him not to trust a man named Tamkin who is a psychiatrist and knows about the market. He convinces Tommy to buy some lard and says it will go up in price. He is very wrong. 

Tommy always goes to breakfast with his dad and one day he finds his dad's new friend there. He drinks Coca Cola and eats breakfast. He meets Tamkin and talks about Tamkin's patients. They go to the market and check lard but its price has gone down. So Tamkin buys December rye. Tommy is soon nearly broke and his dad will not lend him money,but his wife needs money for her boys and asks him for it.

Tommy goes down to a street corner. There he sees Tamkin standing. Tamkin is talking to man,but Tommy cannot hear what about. Tommy sees he is near a funeral and leaves. He soon thinks about money again and asks his dad again. His dad says no and his wife needs more money soon. Tommy tells her about how he is broke and cannot send money,but she does not listen.

Science

While many creatures use sexual reproduction,others can use asexual reproduction. The anemone is one such creature. It can stretch over areas to make two of itself. This makes a clone. A clone is an exact copy of something else. If the original had a defect,the clone will too.

The critics did not like the Gross Clinic back then because they were stupid. The critics now are smarter. The Gross Clinic Was a good painting. The critics were mean back then too. They are nicer now. The Gross Clinic could have happened back then. The art critics did not like realism.

The Literature of Dorian gray

Dorian Gray is a young man who wants to look good forever. He gets a picture of himself from basil Hallward and wishes that it would age instead of him. He gets his wish. He becomes friends with a man named Lord Henry. Dorian falls in love a girl named Sibyl Vane. She calls him Prince Charming since she does not know his name. Her brother James,a sailor, wants her to marry someone else. Dorian sees her backstage as she is an actor. She weeps because she didn't do well in her show. She commits suicide because he does not love her anymore. Her brother tries to find and kill Dorian. When he finds him it is 18 years since she died. And Dorian is still 17. He does not kill Dorian because he does not know it is Dorian. Later,Dorian commits suicide. He cannot age,because his picture ages instead of him.
