Science Skin Summary

Skin has multiple layers in its structure. The outer layer of skin is actually a dead layer. Most people think that it is a living layer but it is not. If you cot the skin it pushes more dead skin. Your skin can move blood to clot a wound until it heals.

Physical Chemistry

Physical chemistry is the study of macroscopic, atomic, subatomic, and particulate phenomena in chemical systems in terms of laws and concepts of physics. It applies the principles, practices and concepts of physics such as motion, energy, force, time,thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, statistical mechanics and dynamics, equilibrium.

Physical chemistry, in contrast to chemical physics, is predominantly (but not always) a macroscopic or supra-molecular science, as the majority of the principles on which physical chemistry was founded, are concepts related to the bulk rather than on molecular/atomic structure alone. For example, chemical equilibrium, and colloids.

Some of the relationships that physical chemistry strives to resolve include the effects of: chemicals in your body such as your heart beat rate being effected by how fast you are moving and how high your blood pressure is. You can change this effect by balancing out your sugar with other foods.


In conclusion,if all of these go together,how do they do that? These sentences will tell you the answer. For example, chemical equilibrium,and colloids show bulk like the bulk of any matter:In its' own form.  This does not apply to the principles, practices and concepts of physics such as motion, energy, force, time,thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, statistical mechanics and dynamics, equilibrium.

Good Omens;Bad Books

An angel named Azirphale is talking to the snake that tempted Adam and Eve. He calls it a devil and says that he shouldn't be talking to it. The two still talk of the Apocalypse. They say that it is planned that the world will be destroyed to punish the wicked.


The Them are a nameless school gang. They have four people. The Leader,Adam Young is unknowingly the Antichrist. Azirphale and the serpent{Now named Crowley.} Go to try and make Adam unable to decide to join either good or evil so that they can postpone the Apocalypse and stay living on Earth.

All of this was prophecied by one Agnes Nutter. She was burned at the stake for this but she packed her petticoat with gunpowder and blew every one who participated n her burning into pieces. Her descendant,Anametha Device,teams up with a man named Newton Pulsifer to help Azirphale and Crowley.
The two meet Adam,Azirphale,and Crowley. They find that Adam doesn't want to hurt the innocent people of the world.

Blood

Blood is not just red stuff in your body. It is the most amazing liquid ever. Red blood cells carry oxygen to all parts of your body.White blood cells attack viruses. Capillaries make a scab by binding red blood cells.



Your heart pumps blood to your lungs at faster than light speed. your veins recall your blood with its oxygen.

Dantes Failferno

                                       Canto 1
Dante is in woods he does not recognize. He hears a growl. He runs and then sees a she wolf. He runs into the woods and sees a shadow of the great Virgil. Virgil leads him into the pit. Dante  reluctantly goes in with a guardian angel at his back.


                                                          Canto II The Pit of Hell

Dante is in the pit. The pit will lead him and other poets to Hell so that they can fight the devil. They must get to the gate. Dante leads the poets to the gate. Many retreat while some stand strong.



                                    Canto III  Hell Itself
The group of poets goes to Hell to fight the devil,Satan. They easily get past the gate keeper by saying a prayer to God. In Hell they face numerous creatures of evil,none as evil as Satan. They must pray for god t be with them in this fatal fight. God delivers not his angel,but himself,And he smites Satan.

Fish

fish are limbless cold-blooded vertebrate animals with gills and fins and living wholly in water. Some have gills like portholes and live as parasites. Others are sharks,carnivorous cartilaginous fish with big teeth that move forward to replace those that fall out. These creatures have streamlined bodies that help them move. The more streamlined the body,the faster the fish. Fish have special kidneys full of oil that help them float.

Camp escapades

A collection of status updates regarding Andrew's first excursion to Camp Lutherhaven.

August 10

What happens when you let your 5th grader pack for camp: I called home when stopping st Fred Meyer after a long day of fun and asked if the kids had all the necessities and toiletries. Turned out Andrew had no toothpaste, soap or shampoo and had not chosen to tell us. It also boggled my mind that I was the only person in line NOT buying alcohol, and 1/2 of them were buying BEER IN CANS! Stay classy, Federal Way.

Andrew : " I saw a killer queen bee at camp!"
Husband :" Was it dynamite with a laser beam?"
" No!"
" Was it guaranteed to blow your mind? "
"NO DAD NOT LIKE THE SONG!!"

And the rest of the story? As I was dragging the last few items out of his luggage I found the soap I bought him...still in the wrapper. His excuse? "The shampoo you bought me is for all body types so I used it on ALL the hair on my body."
